We install composite doors built on the DoorCo slab — one of the UK's most respected composite door manufacturers — fabricated for us by Emplas, who mount every door in a reinforced Profile 22 Optima outerframe with local thickening at the lock points for extra resistance to attack. Every door comes in a Secured by Design specification as standard, with a 3-star Kitemark diamond-grade cylinder and a multi-point lock that works with the Kubu smart security system, so you can check your door is locked from your phone. There are two slab options — the foam-filled ORiGINAL and the premium solid-feel GRiPCORE — and hundreds of style, colour and glass combinations on top.

An insulating PU foam core sits inside a laminated-timber subframe, wrapped in virtually unbreakable reinforced GRP skins — so it stays warm, secure and handsome for decades with nothing more than a wipe down.

GRiPCORE's UK-first hybrid core layers PIR foam and HDF plywood between two sheets of aluminium, making the door heavier, stiffer and more thermally efficient than any standard composite — and DoorCo guarantees it won't bow or twist by more than 3mm in ten years.
